From an Oldie....

Yes compared to all the other people on the Blog, I am the oldest member of the Bunch... But i wouldnt prefer calling myself an oldies coz at Felines no one is an oldie, coz learning never ceases. Every time i enter the club at 6:00 pm on Wednesday i feel a fresher... Coz i get to learn a lot... The first time i visited Felines, we were hardly 10 students.... And the started the journey... I bunked classes, skipped labs, hurried from the college even though there were just 5 minutes of session left at Felines... Such was our determination and enthusiasm... Sorry... IS our determination and enthusiasm.... We have been on the boat of Felines and we have been through many situations, we have been praised, severely criticised... We have seen it all...
The Club has transformed itself... The core ideals being the same over the period of time.. And now its time that we transferred the reins to the next rung of leaders... I wish them Best Of Luck... Will be posting more of my (our) experiences over the period of time...

FELINES -A very potential platform

i still remember the boos frm da back benchers.         we find a kinda different atmosphere wen we stand up in our class rooms to speak  or discuss or put forth our ideas abt sthg.this may not happen wid many,but i say most of da gals fear of atleast standing in their class rooms.
        i always awaited a platform which is sthg different frm all these n  wher i can brush up my communication skills ,wher i can have literary fun , untill i came to THE FELINES -The first n best of its kind.
       The Felines has its own style. With the concept of By the students,for the students and of the students its really helping out so many ppl like me in having a class room tht one always dreamt of.        
        At THE FELINES u have critics but not teasers.u learn how to be punctual at felines as it always maintains its own predescribed schedule. one thing frns , The Felines has its principles.  
it tests whether u r really interested to be a part of it or not. u have to attend for 3 consecutive weeks to be a member at felines.
 u find real youth discussing the whole world in front .
u find real "Ingenious minds at work " which is also the punch line of The Felines.
u find lot more things at The Felines.  jus com for 1 week , i bet u ll fall for it.

Vidi, Vici, Vini

Well, if I am the person to say how I came 2 know abt Synergy; am sure, u gonna wonder how I am scrapping this article… I still remember my first Synergy. 26^th Feb 2006, Ilapuram. Fresh from my tour of IITM, and the closeness vth some of ma seniors, I attended Synergy without actually knowing wat it is…Came at sharp 8.00am n registered for my fav event Quiz (Cudn’t get thru prelims though!), Collage & Mock Press.

I was literally in LOVE vth The Felines rite frm then… I bcame d part of this gr8 team frm the 99^th meet (Zubair was conducting the meet then, I guess!). Starting vth the New Member Intros, 2 or 3 events per meet, announcing next week events, bidding gudnites, pep talks near pani puri, chat bhandars, Wow!, everything seems 2 b dreamlike now.

‘Vidi, Vici, Vini’ ….The Latin version of the famous words of Julius Caesar for ‘I came, I saw, I conquered’ is the phrase u often hear at The Felines…Yeah, remembering Prez’s introduction at the beginning of every Felines meet, “V don’t teach u nything here”, but V jus conquer the world starting frm here…

N c’ming 2 this Synergy, itz gonna b as lively as b4, even much more…Am handling QUIZ this time also, (I’ve done it las yr too) along vth ever enthusiastic Mahendra n Santosh -- 2 wonderful buddies…So, all Siddharth Basus brush up ur skills n get ready for the ULTIMATE BATTLE of esoteric minds…

PRESIDENT'S CORNER

I take immense pleasure in announcing the arrival of the sixth edition of SYNERGY .


SYNERGY in its inaugural edition was started with the intention of providing an oppurtunity to the youth of Vijayawada and Guntur to exhibit their oratory and management skills.


Talking of opppurtunities a very famous proverb flashes by.This is how it goes,

" The reason most people dont recognise oppurtunities is because its usually disguised as work."


Now for those doubting the context of the above wise words with SYNERGY, let me very quickly give you the connection between the the two.The proverb is pretty simple to comprehend -'One needs to work to uncover oppurtunities'.Through SYNERGY we go one step forward.We do the work & you unearth oppurtunities.


SYNERGY in its previous five editions has received tremendous appreciation from the print and the electronic media alike.But what has kept us going is the massive support we have received from the participants of each edition.SYNERGY has seen some great times......participants conjuring up some magical moments.Who knows it could be you this time casting a magical spell on SYNERGY...........................................................................

THE FELINES.

Me and Synergy

A brightly lit hall with the cream students of vijayawada gathering to participate in the biggest literary fiesta - Synergy'06. I was told to select any 3 events to participate - well it is really difficult to select a few pearls from a bunch of many. The events were so interesting, if given time, would love to participate in all. Finally, i selected Ad Zap, Collage and The One.

That was the first time i came across Felines. And it was this experience which created an enthusiasm in me to organize a similar festival on the lines of technology. I kept trying for such an event in my college but in vain.

Thought of joining felines and then be a part of organizing synergy and quench my thirst for event management. But, as is known to everyone, God has His own ways , and finally I am here with both a technical festival in my college and as well Synergy!

Coming to my work in synergy, I have been given Ad Zap to organize.
My job is to bring out the best of the Marketing in each contestant and here i am with my team mates Jaya, Harika to get the best of your skills.

So brace yourselves this September 16th to compete with the best of the best at Synergy'07!
